Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. People know me best through my Instagram account @annephung. In this blog, I will share my story-the highs, the lows, and everything in between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my brother and parents as I reached the age of one and a half. If it wasn't for my parents' passion for dedication and hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn't be here sharing my journey. Since I was confident that I would have a brighter future and I wanted to be successful and do my parents proud. My plan of life was for me to attend university, find work in a corporate as well as marry and then buy a home. I believed that this was the ultimate definition of success. life had other plans to demonstrate what success meant. My corporate job in 2013 was something I dreaded. Status and money did not bring me joy. I believed that I was wasting away my life to earn a paycheck. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with other people led me to discover my dream job as an instructor. The year 2014 was the year that I founded my small company which will mark the 7th anniversary of my company by 2021. Few Asian women are employed in the industry of fashion. I strive to become a catalyst within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help others to become a healthier and happier them by creating the most sustainable life that meets their personal needs and goals. Also, I strive to inspire others to go after their dreams and do anything and everything they want to achieve in their lives. While my professional life was taking off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my life to date- the passing of my Mom. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease is over and she rests in Heaven. She will forever be in my heart and mind. The lessons we learn from life can be hidden from us, but they can be highly beneficial. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways and I am convinced that my Mom gave me another chance to be alive through her death. She passed away in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to begin her new life. I got my second chance to live a happy and fulfilled life. As I approach my 30s, I have a sense that I am alive and living. I'm not feeling as if I'm just a mere existence anymore. My story is made available to me so that I may talk about my experience as well as my words. This can help you feel secure knowing that you're not the only one. You're capable of achieving anything you want to. Therapy is essential and normal. Health is the best asset. I pray that you live your life to the fullest and end it without regrets because dying is the only possibility that awaits us in our life.
