Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is the American basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale played in the NCAA basketball tournament as a member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as a fifth overall pick in the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her older brothers. Being the youngest of her siblings, she was the most spoiled one from her family. Gregory his father worked as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. With 73 high school starts in her career, Ogunbowale scores 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. On July 7, 2014, Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was playing her first season at a collegiate level, was named the ACC All-Freshman Team. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after making several impressive shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale may be new to basketball, but she has quickly established herself.
